Merry Christmas Everyone
This holiday season has been moving along smoothly for us. Christmas was relaxing today and the kids were happy with their presents they received from my family. I feel very blessed to have them around. I spoke with my husband at least 4 times today. He was very lonely and had bagged turkey sandwiches I think he said. Some sort of sandwich he wasn't very happy with. I told him to cheer up, you'll be home with us next year. Just hang in there and know we are waiting for you. I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday Celebration. CCSaturday, December 23, 2006
Friends Forever!
My long time friends have been there for me and they continue to surprise me. My two dear friends sent me money to get the kids christmas presents. They are my true friends, I have always been there for them. I have bought them home appliances and paid for their vacations without a second thought and now I need there help and they have been there for me. I love them so much. God answers prayers. My kids will have a small christmas this year and they will be happy because we are still a loving family even though their father is not here to share it with us. They know this is the last time he will not be home for christmas. CCWednesday, December 20, 2006
Bonus from Work!
Today I got a bonus check from my job and lots of presents from the agents and co-workers. We had our Christmas Party and I guess they love me there. Some of the Realtors gave me cash for helping them with their real estate transactions and I so needed it. It's not a lot of money but I feel blessed to have received it. As of Friday, I would have been broke, nada. Now I am Okay until next Friday which is payday. I do have presents under the tree for my kids and my family. The gifts are small this year but they know it's the thought that counts. I will have a great Christmas this year no matter what my circumstances are. CCSunday, December 17, 2006
Wife of a Felon (Part 10)
After we returned home from our trip, Jonathon was very happy to have spent time with the kids as a family. He was sad and at the same time he felt glad, I felt the same way. With only a savings of about $12,000.00 to get us through the next 3 months, I was praying I could make it work. Maybe sell some more houses or get a regular job. I didn't care, it was all about survival. The time had come for Jonathon to inform his job he was leaving. When he went to work the next day, he advised his boss of the situation and how this had been happening for the last 10 months. They had no idea, they were shocked and wondered how did he keep it all together and not have a stroke or breakdown. They were sorry to see him go and they asked if they could help at all. Jonathon told them the kids and I were staying. They still did not give him a bonus. Instead he received a watch from Tiffany's. I still have it, maybe I should sell it. I will find out how much it's worth tomorrow. CC

Someone's Listening
To the one person who responded to my last blog, I could not find the web site or when I clicked on the link it did not show up. So please send it me again. I need extra work I can do from home. Leaving my kids home on the weekends has been a challenge when I go to my second job and it's only xmas help. My job at the mall will be over next month.Yesterday I was depressed when I got home from work. I talked with my husband and I cryed on the phone and vented about everything that was happening. I just can't keep up with the bills and make all my payments on time. Instead I have to juggle and I am tried of doing that. I need more money to come in. Thanks for reading. CC

Wife of a Felon (Part 9)
Being on a tight budget was something I knew I could do. We would have to cut back on a lot of things we were used to having. I will be the only income coming in for our family and being self-employed is no picnic. I keep asking myself how could the Judge do this? I only work part-time and our two kids are in school, how could the Judge give my husband two years away from us and why not house arrest? But I know God doesn't want us to ask why? Just be strong and deal with the situation and pray about it. Lord knows I do plenty of that. I pray everyday for guidance, strength and to stay strong for my family. Two weeks before Jonathon had to leave us, we took a vacation to a beach resort for two nights and three days. There was a pool, two dining rooms and of course room service. My kids love room service, because we would always take mini-vacations on the weekends or when the kids were out of school. Jonathon liked to order room service. The kids favorite food is "Chicken Nuggets or Strips" with fries and a drink. We went bike riding around the resort or we would go swimming at the pool or play on the white sandy beach. Jonathon spent every moment he could with the children. We had a lot of fun that weekend. CCSunday, December 10, 2006
Busy with Guest
I have guest from out of town visiting. My kids and I have been here almost 8 months and no one has traveled to visit us until now. Of course I knew they were coming. My daughter's best friend and her mom are here visiting because she misses her best friend. I picked them up on Thursday afternoon from the airport and they will be leaving Monday morning. I did not work my second job on Saturday and today, Sunday so I could spend time with them and time with my daughter. After they leave tomorrow, I will continue with the story of my life. I will blog again tomorrow evening. CC
